The San Francisco Bay Chapter Sierra Club Summer Barbeque is our chance to say thank you to all the incredible people who make our chapter great- our numerous wonderful volunteers, activities folks, and donors!
All Chapter members and volunteers are invited! We will provide both meat and veggie barbeque fare and drinks. You bring potluck sides and desserts. (Berkeley prohibits the use of alcohol in its parks.) There will also be a free raffle with a chance to win cool Sierra Club gear.
In the spirit of minimizing waste, we strongly encourage you to bring your own reusable plates, cups, and utensils. Bring the family, games, and musical instruments! There are limited picnic tables at the site, so blankets and chairs may be useful.
Directions: From North Berkeley BART: cross Sacramento St., walk 2 blocks east on Hearst.
By car: drive east on University Ave., turn left on Sacramento St., turn right on Hearst and drive 2 blocks east.
If you're available to assist, your help would be greatly appreciated! Let us know if you can lend a hand with set up, clean up, or the grill.
